Milestone of Note – 1 Year at 5 Days A Week

1year

If you’ve been following Mordant Orange for a while you’ll know this isn’t the first year anniversary of the comic (closer to 3 1/2 years). It is in fact the 1 year anniversary of when I decided to take the comic from three days a week to five days a week. Much like everything else on this site I decided one day to do it and then sat down and did it. At the time I found doing three comics a week pretty hectic but I knew if I wanted to keep doing this I would find the time to get the extra comics done. I was pretty sure that I’d have to give up my second job on Saturday’s to meet five comics a week.

Well it’s been a year and I’m still working that second job (who know’s why?) and I’m still able to find the time to pump out those two extra comics a week. I’d like to think it’s because everyone’s kind comments (and sometimes hate…some people on stumbleupon, their fierce hatred amuses me) that helps me keep the ridiculous hours I do to keep the comics coming five days a week.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by and checking out my goofy comics and showing your continued support.

    Congrats!

However, I would like everyone to know that you’re not just wearing that hat for the anniversary, you in fact where it constantly…and that’s not a party favor in your mouth…it’s a “Fruit by the Foot”

Funny hats are but one of the things that make life bearable…and I think I lived on fruit by the foot in college. Happy 1 year of 5 days a week!
