I was a bit confused as well. I read it as a compliment the first time, but the “kill yourself” part through me off. I believe he’s referring to SMBC with some sort of hand gesture at the start but it really doesn’t translate well in written form.
Thankfully he cleared it up in his next comment in the news post with “Your comics are bad and you should feel bad.”

I don’t know what those jokers expect from a comic, but I get a chuckle whenever I read this site. also you have provided this entertainment for free so I don’t know why they are complaining or insulting, maybe they should try writing and drawing their own comic.
