No landing gear does not seem like a problem... looks like that plane could safely land in water.

That would work if water is near by but I believe the primary course of action found in air traffic control handbook is to have the plane climb an appropriate height and then plunge the plane into a nose dive until the spider loses consciousness and then have it safely removed.
