A mother starfish (perhaps wearing an apron with her arm around the father) would have made the first piece much more evident.

cant hit home runs every at bat... consider this a bunt, and not a good bunt that moves the players into scoring position either... just a good old bunt right to the pitcher with no one on... an easy out..

"Limb Loss" is one of the top 10 funniest single-panel comics I have seen in my life. Kudos.
